22,000 Visitors from the Trade at the INTERNATIONAL TIMBER FAIR AND HOLZ&BAU
Kärntner Messen is delighted to report the major success of the two trade exhibitions dedicated to forestry, sawmill engineering, transportation, timber construction and bioenergy that ended last Sunday: Over 22,000 specialist visitors attended the event during the four days of the exhibition and every third visitor came from abroad. The première of the new "Holz&Bau" trade event was a great success, with 70 percent of the visitors attending. The 462 exhibitors from 22 nations reported excellent business contacts.

Platform for the Industry in Central and Southeast Europe
Its five pillars of forestry, sawmill technology, structural engineering with timber, joinery supplies & equipment, transport & logistics and bio-energy make the INTERNATIONAL TIMBER FAIR from 30 August to 2 September 2012 the most important platform for the industry in Central and Southeast Europe. HOLZ&BAU, the new trade exhibition for timber construction, will be held for the first time simultaneously with the timber fair. The programme highlights 2012 are the revamped "Forestry and Timber Symposium" that has been given the new brand name "Klagenfurt Forestry and Timber Impetus", the "Federal Timber Construction Meeting", the "Timber Construction Forum" and the "International Timber Day".
